See Us in Action

A quick look at what a day with High Bridge Dog Care looks like.

Why Dogs & Owners Love Us

More than daycare. Door-to-door pickup, small groups, off-leash hikes on local trails, and fully fenced playtime — a real adventure every day.

Off-Leash Adventures

Mostly off-leash hikes through local trails and forest land, plus fully fenced playtime on our own acreage — and the occasional swim in the Tolt or Snoqualmie River. Off-leash for pups with good recall, on-leash for those still learning.

Door-to-Door Pickup

We pick your dog up and drop them back home, so daycare fits right into your workday. Pickup and drop-off are included in the daily rate — no extra fee.

Small Play Groups

Never more than 5 daycare dogs a day, so every pup gets real attention and familiar playmates. Some days a few of our own friendly resident dogs join the fun, too.

Daily Photos & Videos

You get photos and videos of your pup every day they're out with us — so you can watch them explore, play, and have a blast while you're at work.

Meet the Locals

Where We Explore

Most days are spent out on off-leash hikes through local trails and forest land. Other days we stay and play on our own fully fenced acreage — always room to run, sniff, and explore.

On the Trails

Off-leash hikes through local trails and forest land, where dogs can roam, sniff, and burn energy in wide-open space — the kind of day that makes for a happy, tired pup.

Our Fenced Acreage

A full 2.5 acres of securely fenced yards and fields for the days we stay in — room to run and play safely, with space to match calmer dogs with just the right playmates.

Rachel, owner of High Bridge Dog Care, in the snow with a rescue dog

Hello, I'm Rachel

I'm the owner of High Bridge Dog Care. Dogs have always been my greatest passion, and over 10 years ago I started getting involved in local dog rescues around the area.

To date I've fostered and homed 60+ dogs, adopting several of those fosters along the way. Moving to a rural property let me open my fenced acreage to even more pups, growing that experience into a dog daycare.

I have a background in pet care and love every dog for their unique personality. I use positive reinforcement only, with plenty of praise and treats on every outing, so dogs stay happy and engaged. You can have confidence that your dog will not only be safe but come home happy under my care.

Takes about two minutes. We'll reach out to talk through the details.

Days you'd like (2–5)

All dogs need current rabies, DHPP, and bordetella vaccines. We'll ask for records and a recent fecal test before the first outing.

New client? Please review and sign our daycare agreement & waiver before your pup's first outing.

Looking for overnight boarding? I take a select few boarding clients — email me to ask.

Common Questions

The things people usually ask before signing up.

What dogs do you take?

Dogs 4 months and up, with no upper age limit, so seniors are welcome — as long as they're still mobile and able to keep up on the trails, like hopping over logs and handling uneven terrain. There are no size or breed restrictions, and dogs don't need to be spayed or neutered.

Does my dog need to get along with other dogs?

Yes. Outings are in small groups, so dogs need to be friendly or neutral with other dogs. I've introduced a lot of new dogs and follow a process for safe introductions before we head out together.

Does my dog need good recall?

Solid recall is preferred. If your dog is still working on it, I'll consider them case by case, and they stay on leash while they learn.

What vaccines are required?

Rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, plus a recent fecal test. I'll ask for records before the first outing.

What does a typical day look like?

I pick up between 8 and 10 am, Monday through Friday. If you need a different time, let me know and I'll work with your schedule when I can. Dogs are out for roughly 3 hours, with about 2 hours of hiking and play, then I bring them home.

Do I need to be home for pickup?

No. Just text me any door or gate codes. I keep codes private and make sure your home is secured when I leave.

How do dogs get to the trails?

In my vehicle, with every dog safely harnessed in.

What about bad weather?

Outings happen rain or shine. I towel dogs off before drop-off, but they may still come home wet, muddy, and happily tired.

What happens if my dog gets hurt or sick?

I contact you or your emergency contact first, then your vet or the nearest clinic, up to the treatment limit you set in the daycare agreement.

Will I hear how the day went?

Yes. You'll get an update with photos and videos of your pup after drop-off.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. High Bridge Dog Care is licensed and insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI).

How do payment and cancellations work?

Payment is due after each outing by Venmo or Zelle. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if your dog will miss a day. You get 2 late cancellations a year at no charge; after that, late cancellations and no-shows are 50% of the daily rate.

Still have a question? Email me or sign up and we'll talk it through.

Meet Ginger

One of our foster pups, Ginger is a young, adventurous Lab–German Shepherd mix who tags along on outings whenever she can — affectionate, athletic, and a total goofball. She's spayed, housetrained, up to date on shots, and gets along great with other dogs and cats. If you fall for her, she's looking for her forever home.
